Vee personally marketed the products and had the opportunity to approach Pick n Pay as a prospective 'convenience' food supplier. To date Vee's Tandoori has been a proud supplier of Pick n Pay for the past 16 years.
However, simply keeping in line with the ever changing Food Safety Agency ("FSA") standards and requirements did not satisfy the high expectations Vee and Jas had envisioned for their company. Accordingly, they have maintained a Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point ("HACCP") certified high risk facility for the last 13 years and the quality of their products are no exception. Various curries supplied by Vee's Tandoori won 1st place in a series of blind curry tastings for The Sunday Times in 2017 and 2018.
All products supplied by Vee's Tandoori are Halal certified by the Islamic Council of South Africa ("ICSA").
